Firstly, thank you to everyone who filled in the form! There was a good mix of information in here of stuff that I already knew (but having the numbers to confirm it always helps), and some insights that I wasn’t aware of, nor considered before.
This post will serve mainly to share the numbers with you guys, share how I’m going to be actioning your feedback, and uphold the transparency that the Showdown Series is built upon.
Before we dive into the meat and bones of the form, the averages from all of the questions on a number scale can be found below.

Generally, the Summer Clash feedback was positive. Most of you enjoyed the event itself, with the majority of concerns being raised around formatting, team balancing and production frequency.
First and foremost, we’re never doing an event this long again. In the future, deadlines will be enforced and we will not let tournaments overrun by 3 months (oopsie). We’re not done with longer-form tournaments entirely, I’m already working on something for the first few months of 2026 that will hopefully strike the right balance.
Secondly, team formatting will be looked at. This is arguably the hardest part to work on for me, yet also the biggest problem right now. Many of the issues in the summer clash stemmed from the large influx of newer players - now we’ve got something to base seeds off, hopefully future tournaments will be more fairly matched. I’m planning to continue to use a looser version of the potting system, and will monitor it’s performance in upcoming tournaments.
Another issue raised was the quality of production. More specifically, the frequency and stability of streams. I’ll be the first to admit the broadcasts were a bit of a buggy mess at times, I was using them as a testing ground for things such as team cams, replays and an overlay system which caused a lot of issues. On future go-arounds, I’ll test stream stuff on my own time, and you guys won’t be subjected to it.
Thank you to everyone for their feedback and suggestions for ideas going into the next year, overall the feedback to most of the ideas was positive. There wasn’t a whole lot that was outright rejected, however it is evident which changes would be more anticipated and this data will be used to prioritise them.

I wasn’t surprised that no-one opposed a talent mentorship system, but I was surprised that 37.5% of you would be interested in participating. With Challenger Series qualifiers upcoming, I would love to be able to take a few of you onboard with me for some of the streams. For those interested, I’ve taken note of your names and expect to see something pop up in the server in the next few weeks.
